This camera is the most basic one, I recommend this for the main entrance. This one doesn’t have sound detection, motion detection and night vision. The main purpose is that is functions during day time hours, and that it’s installed close to the door in a visible spot.

DCS-933L Indoors Basic Security Camera
During night time burglars are trying to get in on the back door or a side door, somewhere hidden, where they can take their time without making too much noise. The best option for the back door is a night vision camera with motion and sound detection. The price is very good for what this camera can do. Talking about prices, if you compare DCS-930L and DCS-933L, it makes more sense to choose 933 and pay just $5 more, as you’ll get night vision and sound motion detection extra. Definitely, this is my favorite.
I suggest to have both these cameras in your home, these are the basic, cheapest and most reliable models. If you decide to upgrade your system to more fancy ones, go ahead and look also at these 5 camera types.
There are also more professional(expensive) cameras with 120o-180o vision, microSD card slot, HD video, if you go for the best, but you will spend also more money – $135-$200.
Calculate that for the price of an expensive one $135-$200, you can buy 4-5 pcs of DCS-933L and spread it around your home. This basic camera can do most of what you want.
