Outdoor Security Motion Sensor LED Lighting

Outdoor motion sensor LED lighting is a great way to increase your home security and discourage burglars from lurking around the house at night.

How many times it happened that I needed to step out during the night and it was pitch black when I came back, because I forgot to switch the light on. You don’t have this problem at all if you have a motion sensor light.

What I like about motion sensors is that the light will come on whenever someone is approaching your house! It will make the bad guys uncomfortable and they will most likely run away and avoid the perimeter of your house.

Your next question is probably where are the best places to set up the motion sensor lights. I recommend the following:

  • Front yard, or facade of the house
  • Backyard, or at the back of your house above your patio door.
  • On the side of the house where you have low windows or side entrance door

  • hardwired motions sensor light – not highly recommended, except you have an electrical background and know how to run some wires.

I will explain the installation process step by step for each of the above options, starting with the most difficult one. If you are not comfortable with that, you may choose the next one, and so on, I assume with the last one (#5) nobody would have any issues.
