How to Secure a Door

There are multiple ways to secure a door, as well as to upgrade the security of your doors and your home. Most of the homes have regular locks in place, at the front door, garage door, side doors and backyard door.

An old guy was saying that “the locks are made for honest people”, and he was absolutely right. I will show you pictures and explain you different ways how somebody can break in easily. For this reasons, you have to be proactive and secure your home better.

So what can you do to secure a door?

  • Replacing a couple of screws (the fastest way and helps a lot). Did you know the builder installs the cheapest doors and locks on the market? So it doesn’t matter if you buy a new home or an old one, you may find 5/8″ screws. You may want to replace these ones As Soon As Possible. I will show you how easy is, it took me 1 minute and 50 seconds to install with one hand (with the other one I was filming). You can watch my 6 minutes video where I will explain you how to do it and why.
